Kemal Houghton introduces the Chester Poets. They have been meeting in the city since 1973 and have been producing anthologies by the group and its members for over 50 years. Over that time they have welcomed new members to their monthly meetings in the Boot Inn or quarterly online sessions.

The current membership stretches from the Greek islands to the west of Ireland, although most come from the northwest of England and North Wales.
